What is your role in the GROW Program?
Program Lead for the GROW Supervisory Training Program
What do you like most about your role?
The best part of my role at GROW is spending all day with people who are passionate about horticulture! I recently completed a Garden Design certificate at George Brown College and I love that I get to encourage others to pursue further education in their careers within the profession.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
After work, I love to garden (growing food specifically!) and forage, do crochet and embroidery, and hang out with my two cats.
What is a plant that you would like to GROW?
For post-secondary, I went to culinary school for baking so it's been a dream of mine to one day grow enough wheat to bake a loaf of bread!
