ABOUT DR. LORD ABBEY
Dr. Lord Abbey has a background in Horticulture and Crop Science with a research focus on sustainable horticultural production systems for human health and well-being. He is currently an Associate Professor (tenured) at Dalhousie University
Faculty of Agriculture where he teaches and supervises undergraduate and graduate students. His research program is Plant Nutrition and Physiology. Since 2015, Dr. Abbey has received over $3.2M+ in funding from The Compost Council of Canada/MAFRD, NSDA Research Accelerate, INNOVACORP, RNS, MITACS, NRC-IRAP, NSERC and NFRF-Transformation programs to work on climate-smart agricultural research programs.
