Join Sarah (GROW Technical Trainer) and Durham Chapter members at WindReach Farm for some light landscaping work and barbecue!
WindReach Farm is a therapeutic, accessible registered charity farm in Ashburn, Ont., where people of all abilities can engage with farm animals and nature.
They offer formal therapeutic programs based on encounters with animals, wool, and horticulture, as well as farm visits and tours for schools, long term care homes and the general public.
After giving the gardens some autumn love, enjoy listening to a few guest speakers while enjoying a barbecue and touring the property.
